As a professional home-based child care provider, I am committed to providing high quality care in an environment similar to the child's own home. I believe that home-based child care offers the opportunity to learn and grow with siblings and children of different ages in a supportive, family-like atmosphere. We offer a cozy home instead of an institutional setting. Throughout the day children can move freely upstairs and downstairs as we always have a teacher on each level to observe and guide the children as needed. We are also more flexible than center-based care as we can travel to field trips easier, care for children who might be mildly ill on any given day, and adapt our program to fit the needs of the children in a more individualized way.  We typically nurture, teach, and care for a child over the course of several years, often from infancy through early adolescence.
